Today I took my 2014 Kia Forte in for servicing at the Novato Kia Dealership where I heard about some duck daring-do. Seems last year a little duck decided the median at their busy Novato Toyota Scion dealership was the perfect place to start her family. So she nested on a soft leaf-strewn little spot of earth bookended by a couple of slender trees...an island maybe two feet wide in a sea of concrete with noisy cars and motorbikes and foot traffic passing just inches away.

Mark Gerace, Certified Master Parts Professional, felt sorry for this little duck and a bit protective. So he started caring for her, bringing her Cheerios from home and generally looking after her. Then came the day her babies hatched! What excitement! The staff at Novato Toyota Scion Kia followed the directions of the wildlife experts and safely transported this little mama and her chicks to the safety of a nearby lake. Doesn't she look happy?
