Just recently I listed a home on Read Avenue for friends of ours. The family moved into the home in 1961 and the parents raised their four children there. Now both the mother and father have passed away and it is time for a new family to make it their own. It has gorgeous silky hardwood floors (protected all those years by carpet), updated bathrooms, a picture window looking out onto their spacious usable yard. I've held Open Houses for two weekends and will be holding the final one this Sunday 9/21/2014 and then they'll be looking at offers.

Something that really impressed me about this home is that it's view is so serene and calming. It looks out at the western hills and the new owners will be able to have a front seat to every sunset from now on. This home is on a cul-de-sac and so the only traffic is that of the neighbors and their visitors. The present owner tells me she used to ride her bike up and down the street when she was a little girl. The next door neighbor has two small children and they're hoping the new owners will have children too. Anyway, if you have the time, I'll be holding it open this Sunday from 1pm to 4pm.
