Poem - Landslide
Landslide
March 25, 2014
Too much rain and too much thunder
Sturdy bones sawn asunder
Sinews ripped and strewn above
Boulders tumbling under grass, roots aloft
Majestic trees shredded and torqued
Dirty rapids running filthy
A mountain splintered and twisted
Homes entombed, lives lost
Clouds dripping, heavy with tears
