Did you see the movie? It is about a determined coach and an amazing group of runners who changed their lives through cross-country running. I give it two thumbs up.

I looked up Mc Farland. Did you know its not that far away? It is a little town just outside of Bakersfield, CA. You could visit on a day trip and be home by dinner. Yet their economy and ours are so different. There's is an agricultural community. Santa Clara, San Mateo and San Francisco counties have a much more diversified economy with industries such as BioTech, Tourism, Google, Facebook, etc.

You see that reflected in the home prices and market. For example, the Bakersfield area had showed two homes for sale in the low $200,000s and each home had been on the market for months. In Belmont, we have ten homes for sale. All homes have asking prices exceeding $1 Million. No home has been on the market longer than two weeks.

We live in a truly amazing real estate market. I've never seen home prices go up like they do here in the Bay Area.

However, no matter where we live, we face adversities...and we overcome adversities. It is heartwarming to see when someone struggles and then soars. My wish for you is that you soar.
