It is so delicious to have sunshine on autumn days.  I especially love sunshine in the morning. Now with daylight savings time over, I don't have to get up so early to see the sunrise. Here's a little poem I wrote about that joyful feeling you get when a shaft of sun suddenly appears inside and sets beauty and joy in motion...

Sunbeam

 

The sun peeked in my window and crept along the stair

Dust motes rose and shimmered in its early morning air

They danced about in rapture and floated in delight

Blissful moment captured in its beam of perfect light
