Today there are eight homes for sale in the entire city of Belmont. Eight. Prices range from $1,549,000 for a 4 bedroom, three bath home with over 2500 square feet built in 1990 on Plateau to $829,000 for a two bedroom, one bath home with 950 square feet on a tiny lot on Notre Dame.

Sale prices in comparison to asking prices continue to be healthy. On the average, homes went for about $100,000 over asking. Sixteen homes closed escrow in Belmont this month so far. All but two sold for significantly more than the asking price. The two that didn't, sold at least for the price they were asking. The average asking price was slightly below $1.2Million and the average sold price was just under $1.3Million.
